First of all, I'm going to cheat on this challenge. I chose five characters from five book series who always find trouble - or maybe trouble finds them. I mention more than ten books (each series has at least three books or more), but I only write about five characters. Please, forgive me.
Mercy Thompson from Mercy Thompson series. Mercy seems to attract all kind of trouble - her honeymoon ended with a trip to the hospital. I guess when you are a walker and live in a town full to werewolves, fairies, vampires and many other creatures still unknown, it's your destiny to be constantly in danger situations.
MacKayla "Mac" Lane from Fever series. Wishing to unveil the truth about her sister's death, Mac ended up in a world where things she thought unreal were pretty much real. But at least being always in trouble has its perks: Jericho Barrons. Mac is such an unlucky lucky girl.
Yelena Zaltana from Study series. Everywhere Yelena goes, she finds trouble. She found it in Ixia and she found it in Sitia. Where can she go without having to run for her life? Maybe if she wasn't such a powerful magician... Yelena just seems unable to find a break. Poor girl.
Percy Jackson from Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Being a demi-good means being a light to mythological monsters. But being Percy, son of Poseidon, means attracting all sort of dangerous situations along with mythological monsters. The kid keeps fighting for his life.
Harry Potter from Harry Potter series. When you're the Boy Who Lived, it's a known fact that your studying years at Hogwarts will be full of dangerous situations - from killing a basilisk to flying in a enchanted broom. Harry is another character that attracts danger - he even ends up in the middle of it without wishing to. But in the end, we all wish we had lived the adventures Harry did.
