Sunday Post. A Never Ending Cold

Sunday, 13 January 2019

Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviews.
Good morning bookworms. How's everyone doing?  I'm better from the cold the new year welcomed me with (I hope everyone who also got sick is doing better), however, I'm still not one hundred percent. I'm hoping this week I'll feel better, but with the cold weather I'm not so sure I'll. PS. I'll be blogger hopping later today because I've ten pages of thesis to edit and I need to them this Sunday. Wish me luck.

What happened in the past week:

⛄ I finished two books this week and since they are both retelings/inspired by folk tales I'm thirteen books away from reaching my Retellings Reading Challenge goal. I read The Bride of the Blue Wind by Victoria Goddard and Dream Keeper by Amber R. Duell.
☕ I joined another reading challenge. This is an actual Harry Potter board game with reading prompts and you even must use a dice. I know I already joined too many challenges, but I couldn't not resist this one.
⛄ I'm currently hosting two giveaways. You may enter here to win any book of your choice (up to 15€) or enter here to win a UK paperback copy of The Girl King, a tale about a girl that will not bend to the patriarchal order and fight for what is hers.

ON THE BLOG
  • I don't usually read anthologies, but I could not resist to A Thousand Beginnings and Endings. I mean, I love mythology and folk tales. You can read my review here. Yes, for the first time in a thousand years I shared a review of a book that wasn't an ARC.

Have a great bookish week!

  2. You started your new year with a cold, mine struck this week. I feel like everyone is being struck down with some kind of ailment or malady. I hope 2019 isn't the year of everyone getting sick. I wish you all the luck with editing those thesis pages, knuckle down with it and reward yourself with a little break every so often to give your brain a break.

That Harry Potter reading challenge sounds awesome! I'm off to check that out even though I'm not meant to be doing any reading challenges this year. I've looked and I love how much there is to it, it's a proper board game type challenge I definitely want to do.
