When Snakes Take Over

How do you celebrate Friday the 13th? Talking about something that actually terrifies me. A lot! So, I have a confession to make: I don't like snakes. Never did. Never will. I'm not sure if I can say that I have a snake phobia (which I most certainly probably have), but I like to keep my distance from these reptilians, may them be real or fake. Can't Wait Books of 2020

Who wants to talk about can't wait books of 2020? *raises hand* This post should have been published more than a month ago, I know. I thought about not sharing it anymore since February is almost ending - also because I think some of these books have already been released and they are no longer can't wait books of 2020 (or perhaps they are since I haven't bought them). Book Tag. Mid-Year Freak Out Book Tag

How did time fly by so fast? 😱 I'm sure that just a few weeks ago, I was planning my bookish resolutions for 2019 and, now, here I'm looking back at the last six months to share with you some of my favourite (and not so favourite) readings. Welcome to the Mid-Year Freak Out Book Tag! I hope you're ready for lots of gushing, incoherent sentences and maybe some gifs. I don't know who created this tag (if you do know, please, share with me so that I give her/him credit), but I first saw it first on The Literary Phoenix. I immediately knew I had to join this tag. How could I ever pass up the chance of rambling about books?

TTT. Can't Wait Books of 2019

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.
I know that I'm diverging from today's topic, but I decided to talk about all the 2019 releases I'm excited about. Well, not all of them because then this would be a never-ending-post. So, to keep it short, I decided only to mention books whose covers have already been announced (dear Juliet Marillier, I need to see the cover of The Harp of Kings) and books that aren't sequels to any on-going series (but companions novels are acceptable). Now, can we just have a long conversation about how 2019 will be the year of beautiful book covers?
