Cover Reveal. The Whatever End

I'm so excited to share with you the cover of The Whatever End by Lindsey Frydman. So bummed this book hasn't been released yet because it would be such a perfect Halloween read - a girl that can see the end to someone's life with a simple touch?! Screams Halloween! (Visit my blog tomorrow if you want to add to your Halloween book pile all the creepy reads). Before we get to the cover, I would like to thanks to YA Bound Book Tours and Entangled Teen (it's becoming one of my favourite publishers) for this opportunity. Now, the cover *drum rolls*

Cover Reveal. Sugar Spells

It's cover reveal time! Thank you Xpresso Book Tours for the opportunity to share with everyone the cover of Sugar Spells by Lola Dodge. I read Deadly Sweet (review) a few months ago and I have an advise for you: Do not read Deadly Sweet with an empty stomach. Delicious cake descriptions will make you crave for something sweet. If the cover of Sugar Spells is any indication, the book will leave one craving for cakes and cupcakes too.

Cover Reveal. The Hummingbird

This week Blaze Publishing has revealed the cover of the third book of Jacob Devlin, The Hummingbird. How precious is it?! It's so pretty and eerie. Since Jacob Devlin wants to see our reaction to this cover through gifs, here is mine (you can visit his website and share yours).

The Hummingbird is expected to be released on September 20th 2018.

In the aftermath of the great battle that left Wonderland in ruins, Crescenzo DiLegno and his two best friends have reunited with their families in Florindale, but the war wages on in every kingdom. The Order of the Bell is scattered, presumably left to the mercy of Queen Avoria, whose grip on the New World grows tighter every day. Cities have already fallen, the shadows have spread, and a fortress of nightmares has appeared in the heart of New York City.

Determined to take back his home and restore order to the worlds, Crescenzo must rally all the people he's met from his adventures, from the troubled prince to the rebellious Lost Boys, and storm Avoria's castle of illusion. The Carver's war against the wicked Ivory Queen brews to an explosive finale, but dark secrets about her true nature have yet to emerge, and not everybody will be prepared to survive them."

Cover Reveal. A Reaper at the Gates

The cover and title of the third novel in Ember in the Ashes has been revealed. I'm so excited for this novel! This is my favourite ongoing series. However, I must confess I'm not really that fond of A Reaper at the Gates cover (or maybe I just loved the other covers too much; they were so eerie and mysterious). And, once again, the covers for this series have changed in - publishers really need to stop doing that. I do love this series, but my wallet does not like the idea of buying the first two books again so that they all look perfect together. You can see the new cover art for An Ember in the Ashes and A Torch Against the Night here.

EDIT: I know there has been a lot of discussion in the book community towards this cover. People are being told they are racists for not liking it. I'm not racist, it's great to see POC characters on a cover (even though, the blonde girl is at the centre). But I much prefer the previous covers, as many other people do, and that does not make anyone racist. A few days ago, I shared my thoughts on how this world fights hate with more hate, how open-minded people are those who are always ready to judge. It's so sad seeing this happening in the book community...

A Reaper at the Gates is expected to be released on April 10th 2018.

Cover Reveal. Paintbrush

As a Blaze Publishing rep, I've the pleasure to reveal to you the cover of Paintbrush by Hannah Bucchin. What do you think of it? I'm very fond of its colours. And how the flower was conceived, the petals turning into teardrops (or maybe I'm reading too much into it). Anyway, this minimalistic cover is simply beautiful.

"Mitchell Morrison and Josie Sedgwick have spent their whole lives at the Indian Paintbrush Community Village, a commune full of colorful characters tucked in the mountains of North Carolina, and they aren't particularly close--at least, not anymore. Josie wishes she could spend all of her time at Paintbrush planting tomatoes, hiking the trails, or throwing giant communal birthday parties, while Mitchell can’t wait to escape the bizarre spiritual sharing and noisy community dinners. Luckily for both of them, high school graduation is just around the corner.

But when Mitchell’s mother makes a scandalous announcement that rocks the close-knit Paintbrush community, and Josie’s younger sister starts to make some dangerously bad decisions, the two find themselves leaning on each other for support – and looking at each other in a whole new light. Their childhood friendship blossoms in to something more as they deal with their insane families, but as graduation approaches, so does life in the real world, forcing Josie and Mitchell to figure out what, exactly, their relationship is – and if it can survive their very different plans for the future."

Cover Reveal. Forest of a Thousand Lanterns

I'm not sure how to feel about this cover. Probably my fear of snakes -I really hate those creeping creatures- prevents me from loving it. However, I'm still so excited for Forest of a Thousand Lanterns, the debut novel of Julie C. Dao. I've never read retellings focused on the story of the Evil Queen of the tale Snow White, so I really can't wait to get my hands on this novel -does anyone know where a girl can get an ARC? Not that I'd be chosen because my follower bases isn't huge, but trying doesn't hurt.

Forest of a Thousand Lanterns is expected to be released in October 10th 2017.

Cover Reveal. Always and Forever, Lara Jean

HAPPY belated COVER REVEAL! This cover is as cute as the cover of To All The Boys I've Loved Before and P.S. I Still Love You. I just love how adorable the covers of this trilogy are. *.* I confess I'm dying to read this book, but I'm terrified at the same time because of the future of Lara Jean and Peter (please, don't break them apart). Because, let's face it, high school relationships don't last forever and the tittle kinda suggest a break up.

Always and Forever, Lara Jean is expected to be released on April 4th 2017.

"Lara Jean is having the best senior year a girl could ever hope for. She is head over heels in love with her boyfriend, Peter; her dad’s finally getting remarried to their next door neighbor, Ms. Rothschild; and Margot’s coming home for the summer just in time for the wedding.

But change is looming on the horizon. And while Lara Jean is having fun and keeping busy helping plan her father’s wedding, she can’t ignore the big life decisions she has to make. Most pressingly, where she wants to go to college and what that means for her relationship with Peter. She watched her sister Margot go through these growing pains. Now Lara Jean’s the one who’ll be graduating high school and leaving for college and leaving her family—and possibly the boy she loves—behind.

When your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to?
