Monthly Wrap-Up. Goodbye July

Can you believe July is gone?! It has been a long time since I wrote a monthly wrap up, but July has been an eventful month and I wanted to record it differently. I understand that this is not the best place to mention something so important, but this is something that must be mentioned: last week we lost someone from our community and it's heartbreaking. This is just so surreal! I can't even imagine what her family is going through. 😔 Moments like this make you think how fragile and unfair life is.

Sunday Post. The Perks of Being A Penguin International Partner

Hello book dragons. How are you doing? 😊 Today's Sunday Post is going to be really short (there will be no Around the Blogosphere) and I will probably not be much involved in the book community for the next week. Why? Well, I'll be defending my MA thesis very soon and I've a lot of stuff to get done to make sure everything goes smoothly with m defence. I've a feeling that it'll go horribly wrong...

The Cutest Book Tag Ever! "What Cats Do" Book Tag

Cats and books. Books and cats. There's something better than such a match? 😸 I saw this fluffy tag at Inge @OfWonderland, two weeks ago, and I immediately added it to my tags-I-must-join list. Yes, I have list for everything. I wanted to share my answers last Saturday, not only because it's Caturday day, but also my not-so-little Iago turned three. Shall we look at some cat and book fluffiness?

Disclaim: This book tag may leave you squealing and gushing about adorable kittens and cats.

Sunday Post. Good Morning Book Lovers

Sunday Post

Good morning book lovers! How is everyone doing? 😊 It has been a while since I joined this meme (I was going to join it last week, but I was part of a blog tour). However that doesn't mean I've much to share. A few stressful days here and there, some sleepless nights because of the warm weather and lots of struggling to tackle down my book pile. But shall we talk about happier things?

Welcome to Spin the Dawn Blog Tour hosted by The Fantastic Flying Book Club. Gosh, I can't believe how long has it been since I joined a blog tour (my last blog tour was in January). But now I'm back and I'm sharing with you my review of one o my favourite books of 2019 as well as some of my favourite quotes. Don't forget to join the Giveaway (sorry, it's US only). Also, if you wish to read more reviews, interviews  and guest posts follow the tour here.

Reading & Blogging Challenges. Second Quarter Update

This post comes a little later than I expected, but since I joined the Mid-Year Freak Out Book Tag, in which I gushed about all the books I'm loving and still want to love, I decided not to share another reading update on the same week. So, how has the second quarter of the year been reading and blogging-wise? As I mentioned three months ago, I still haven't read as much as I expected to. However, I did get more involved in the challenges I joined. Not in all of them, but I'm very happy with the amount of discussion posts I've written so far. 😊

Book Tag. Mid-Year Freak Out Book Tag

How did time fly by so fast? 😱 I'm sure that just a few weeks ago, I was planning my bookish resolutions for 2019 and, now, here I'm looking back at the last six months to share with you some of my favourite (and not so favourite) readings. Welcome to the Mid-Year Freak Out Book Tag! I hope you're ready for lots of gushing, incoherent sentences and maybe some gifs. I don't know who created this tag (if you do know, please, share with me so that I give her/him credit), but I first saw it first on The Literary Phoenix. I immediately knew I had to join this tag. How could I ever pass up the chance of rambling about books?
