ARC Review // The Never Tilting World

Author: Rin Chupeco
Publisher: Harper Teen
Published: 15th October 2019
Pages: 496 pages

Frozen meets Mad Max in this epic teen fantasy duology bursting with star-crossed romance, immortal heroines, and elemental magic, perfect for fans of Furyborn.

Generations of twin goddesses have long ruled Aeon. But seventeen years ago, one sister’s betrayal defied an ancient prophecy and split their world in two. The planet ceased to spin, and a Great Abyss now divides two realms: one cloaked in perpetual night, the other scorched by an unrelenting sun.

While one sister rules Aranth—a frozen city surrounded by a storm-wracked sea —her twin inhabits the sand-locked Golden City. Each goddess has raised a daughter, and each keeps her own secrets about her sister’s betrayal.

But when shadowy forces begin to call their daughters, Odessa and Haidee, back to the site of the Breaking, the two young goddesses —along with a powerful healer from Aranth, and a mouthy desert scavenger —set out on separate journeys across treacherous wastelands, desperate to heal their broken world. No matter the sacrifice it demands.

Sunday Post. Everything is Going to be Okay, Right?

Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviews.

Hello, fellow book lovers. How are you doing? 😊 I'm starting to feel the worse blogger to walk on earth since I rarely share new posts, finish any new posts or blog hop. How did my life come to this?! Every day, I find less time for my hobbies and for the things that make me happy. Every day, I find myself more stressed and with no opportunity to slow down and take a deep breath. I no longer feel like everything is going to be okay...

Book Aesthetic & Blog Tour. The Never Tilting World

Welcome to The Never Tilting World Blog Tour. I know you were expecting a review from me today, but this week was a chaotic hell. Due to personal issues and a blackout, I was not able to finish this beautiful book (you can still expect a review until the end of the month). Because of such, I decided to create a book aesthetic, inspired by Aeon, an world divided in two. Ps. There's a giveaway and it's international! Don't forget to join it.

Reading & Blogging Challenges. Third Quarter Update

If my second quarter update came a bit later than I was expecting, what to say about my third quarter of the year update?! I've been working on it since September, but only now did I find the energy to finish it aka work on all the graphics. Anyway, how has the third quarter of the year been reading and blogging-wise? I'm finally ahead of my Goodreads reading challenge and once again I've changed my reading goals for two challenges. Nevertheless, it seems I'm lacking discussion posts. AGAIN!

Polishing The Fangs. Vampires Are Back!

The spooky season is upon us! Halloween is not a tradition in my country, but that doesn't stop me from being super excited about this creepy holiday. I'm always happy to talk about monsters (I did write a thesis about monsters, after all), but there's something special about going rambling about monsters in this season. Thus, there's nothing better than sharing and maybe fangirl a bit, all these books coming out featuring blood-sucking creatures aka vampires. Is it me or are vampires making a comeback?

Sunday Post. The Spooky Season is Upon Us 👻

Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviews.
It seems that Sunday Post has become a monthly meme instead of a weekly one for me. 😅 I fear I'll be repeating myself, but I just don't know how to do all of this at the same time. I'm starting to feel like I'm drowning. Or maybe I'm just panicking all the time. I no longer know what to do keep everything together. 😟
