Sunday Post
Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviews.
Hello book dragons. How are you doing? 😊 Today's Sunday Post is going to be really short (there will be no Around the Blogosphere) and I will probably not be much involved in the book community for the next week. Why? Well, I'll be defending my MA thesis very soon and I've a lot of stuff to get done to make sure everything goes smoothly with m defence. I've a feeling that it'll go horribly wrong...

These past week in my life:

🌻 This week I was officially told that I'll be defending my thesis on July 30th. I'm very stressed about it because I've no clue of what I must do. Do I present the all thing? Do I focus only on once chapter? What is damn the structure?!
🌻 If I was stressed before because of all the brick walls I must figure out how to get through at work, now I find myself most times feeling like crying and panicking.
🌻 All this means that I have yet to finish the third season of Stranger Things and it's starting to get difficult to avoid spoilers!
🌻 It hasn't been an easy week...

  • Since I'm still struggling to find time to blog, I only shared one post this week: I joined the "What Cats Do" book tag that is just the cutest book tag ever. I wanted to share more pictures of my cat, but editing photos and creating graphics takes so much time!

I'm sure you were wondering why my Sunday Post's title is "The Perks of Being a Penguin International Partner" if so far I've been talking about how anxious I've been feeling. Well, THANK YOU PRH GLOBAL FOR GIVING ME ACCESS TO THIS BEAUTY!!! 😭 I've been dying to receive an e-ARC of House of Salt and Sorrow by Erin A. Craig. My hope was faltering! I still can't believe it has actually happened... I'm pretty sure this will be the first book I'll read after all the craziness is over.

Have you ever pinned so long for an e-ARC? Did you end getting the book before the release date?
If you like my blog and would like to support it, you may use my Book Depository Affiliate Link or buy me a coffee.

  6. Talk with other people about defending your thesis. Google it. I bet there are lots of ways you can hear about others' experiences and then you can better prepare. Here's hoping it all goes well!

Plus, once you are finished with that, you can move on this wonderful book!

  7. I will be thinking of you on the 30th - good luck! XxXx Please let us know how it went.

I received my VERY FIRST paperback ARC last week but what's really amazing it was DEATH Of DARKNESS by one of my all time favourite authors DIANNE DUVALL. I am still fangirling now and all of a tizz. I'd pre-ordered the Kindle version (it's out on 20th August) and never expected Dianne to send an ARC to me here in England. I am so happy, I keep looking at it making sure it's real - I've already read it, of course as soon as it arrived.

I hope you have an outstanding week, Tania. Here's my Sunday Post if you get a minute after the 30th. ;-)
