Sunday Post
Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviews.
Hello! How is everyone doing? 😊 Can you believe it that it's now September? Can you believe it that I spend a whole month without joining Sunday Post?! I haven't had much time to blog - I'm a mess at managing my time, but I'm working on it. Hopefully, this afternoon I'll write some reviews and put on paper some ideas. However, I've been reading more than I use to - even though you would not be able to notice it because my TBR pile seems taller - and I've been having fun joining reading challenges.

This past week in my life:

🌻 I'm proud to announce that I'm part of the two amazing blog tours: The Never Tilting World by Rin Chupeco and The Deathless Girls by Kiran Milwood Hargrave.
🌻 I also received the official confirmation that my PhD application was accepted. I'm still not sure about going ahead with it because it's very expensive...
🌻 Regarding my Goodreads challenge, I'm finally ahead of it! I'm three books ahead, to be precise. Ps. Hoping to be four books ahead before the days ends.
🌻 I've now sold more than twenty items on my Redbubble store. πŸ₯³ It isn't a huge milestone, but it did make me a bit more excited about this project. I've been working on some new designs and I've a few plans that I can't wait to share with you!

  • I shared my review of House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin. A Craig. If you love dark retellings and mysterious settings than you should definitely pick this book. It's a hauntingly-beautiful retelling of The Twelve Dancing Princesses.
  • Since I joined this years Newts, I knew I had to do something Harry Potter related. So, I joined the Harry Potter Book Tag. If you haven't joined it, you should because it's a magical tag.
  • After forgetting about the previous Bout of Books, I was able to be part of Bout of Books 16. You may take a look at my progress and the challenges I joined here. I didn't make a dent on my TBR pile, but I did read two book and started two new ones.
  • Finally, I shared my Mythothon sign up post and what books I'm hoping to read. This challenge is hosted by Louise @Foxes and Fairytales and this year is all about Norse Mythology.

It has been a month since I shared with you my last book haul and I can tell that some shiny new pre-orders arrived at my mailbox (and I'm waiting for a few more to arrive). Since I always seems to forget on which new books I got my hands on (I'm wondering if it's a mechanism so that I don't freak out about the amount of books I spend money on), I'm just sharing what I got this week: an e-ARC of The Deathless Girls

Did you get yourself some shiny new books this week?

If you like my blog and would like to support it, you may use my Book Depository Affiliate Link or buy me a coffee. You may also buy some bookish items from my RedBubble store.

  2. PhD application! I missed a couple of Sunday posts I guess :) well, which ever way you decide to go, it's a really cool thing that it was accepted. So congratulations!

I got me some shiny new books during my trip!! I will have to do a haul eventually. Like a nice photo on insta or something like that. I went to the biggest Waterstones (in Europe, I think). It's like 5 floors of books! It was way too exciting :)
